February 5 we held a memorial by the creek for my Dad’s sister Peggy.

It was a quiet family moment.
The day looked like this.

A favorite hill climb into a historic old cemetary. Windy and peaceful today.

Monday in Tennessee was almost 70F…. We wore shorts. Tuesday was 62F… we wore short sleeves…Today is Wednesday, and the weather says we may get a few snowflakes by afternoon. Meaning it must be close to freezing (32F) for that to happen.

a few Tuesday photos…

Rambling in town

I have an affinity for hiking trails. I also have an affinity for abandoned things. This building is an easy bike ride from my house, although I sometimes drive to park nearby it due to the glass shards the closer you get to the actual building. I actually tried contacting the owner….to see about using the overgrown (and large) grounds on one side for a community garden. But it seems, he must like it falling down. Anywhohow…. Rambling, I like rambling here…. Lots of odd photo rewards. I have at least a half dozen ‘new’ favorite photos from there. Not all of which I’ve shared….
More rambling posts to come…..bwahhhhh ha haaaaaa!

Peek a boo

image

This canna seems a little shy.

A bit like a peekaboo…. Now I see you, now I don’t.

Life does that sometimes too.

Some days we see it, we get right to the point. Some days the meaning seems to hide out and only with careful observation are we able to see the bloom and the glory of the day!

Wild things

Things that grow wild, in rubble…Uncared for, shaggy, leggy…
      …Scrub
Yet beautiful in their moment.

Sunshine and crinkles

Summer wears her patina

We are called to chill.
